Toronto's NetShelter Technology Media announced today its expansion into the United Kingdom opening a London office to be led by former Starcom Mediavest International and IDG veteran Darren Higham, who becomes the company's Director of Sales for the UK and Europe.
Launched in May 2006, NetShelter has assembled a publisher network of more than 150 tech-focused content sites reaching more than 90 million unique visitors worldwide. NetShelter's unique tech-only vertical approach to serving advertisers and Web publishers has seen 900 percent growth over the last three years. According to comScore numbers for March 2009, NetShelter already delivers more than 26 million unique visitors in Europe and 5.5 million in the United Kingdom, ranking it as first in reach in the tech category in those markets.
In December 2008, NetShelter announced that it closed a $11.1 Million Series A round of financing from Rho Canada, GrowthWorks and JLA Ventures.
