Network Hub Opens Coworking Office Beside World-class Ski Resort

Posted by Knowlton Thomas

The Network Hub has opened a new coworking space, but this one is well outside of the organization's bread-and-butter Lower Mainland region in Vancouver: it's nestled inside Whistler, a world-class ski resort and tourist hotspot two hours outside of the city.

The Hub's new Whistler coworking office is less than a minute from a ski-in, ski-out gondola that gives workers access to Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain.

According to the company, the 1,800 square foot office addresses "a significant need for coworking space" among the Whistler area's community of entrepreneurs, remote workers, and freelancers.

“There’s tremendous opportunity for both personal and professional growth, that’s only possible through the accelerated serendipity you gain from being a member of a coworking space,” said Network Hub cofounder Jay Catalan. “A good deal of local economic development can come out of these collaborations; new ideas, products and services can be created and collaborated on by smart people with different skill sets working in close proximity to one another."

Members enjoy free parking plus all of The Network Hub's standard coworking space amenities at the new Whistler location. Prices start at $200 a month.
