New Media BC goes East

Vancouver digital media mavens are well-versed in meeting their counterparts at tweetups, Barcamps, Launch Parties and a myriad of other real-world confabs. But rarely do they get a chance to meet with officials from other countries to show off their skills and press palms.

New Media BC aims to change that with a meet and greet for NMBC members with delegates from the Taiwanese government, including Dr. David Lee, the representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Canada.

Members will also be able to tour the New Media BC and the Centre for Digital Media. The meetup and tour starts at the Centre at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18th. Those interested in touring and meeting the delegates should email NMBC.
