Even in Canada, traditionally a mobile backwater, mobile carriers have been forced to up their game in order to compete and match the capabilities of Apple’s juggernaut. New Media BC has recognized the opportunity presented by iPhone development, and is hosting the Vancouver iPhone Forum 2009 on November 24th. Bell, which only recently announced it will carry the iPhone, is sponsoring the event. THe forum will feature keynote speakers from Apple and the CBC, as well as technical and business sessions.
