Just a reminder to all those who applied to the Wireless and New Media BC Showcase. The half-day session for applicants and those still interested to find out how they can be involved takes place on April 7, between 2-5pm at the 2010 Commerce Centre at Robson Square.

An industry jury will review all applications and announce all selected companies for the DEMO Day by April 17. DEMO Day is April 30, where there is an opportunity for selected companies to show themselves in front of the wireless and new media community, as well as the community at large. Details for that will be announed soon.  Selected participants will be announced by May 1.

By participating in this initiative, you not only get exposure in front of 3,000 non-accredited media and hundreds of thousands of visitors, but also connect yourself with economic opportunities created by the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, develop new relationships, realize investment and commercialization opportunities and provide a unique and valuable service that will enhance the experience for visitors, locals, media, and athletes in Vancouver, amongst others.
