New Techvibes Blog Features: City RSS Feeds and Daily Email Digest

Posted by Greg Andrews on Thu, January 24, 2008 11:51 AM · Filed under Vancouver · Comments

I've been busy this week "under the hood" of the blog, and have implemented two new features to give you more options for reading Techvibes content.

First, we now have separate RSS feeds for each city in addition to the popular all-inclusive main feed. If you're only interested in local stories, you can subscribe to only the city or cities you wish. The feeds are accessible by clicking on the orange RSS icons next to each city name in the sidebar.

Second, for those who prefer news by email, we're providing daily email digests. If you subscribe, you'll receive one email a day with all the day's posts. Like the RSS feeds, you can choose between receiving all posts or only city-specific posts. Your email address will not be sold or used for spam; the daily digest is automatically generated from posts to this blog.

We're pleased to make our content more convenient for our readers, and welcome your feedback on these features.
