'The Social Network' gets very good reviews
In the first feature-length Hollywood dedication to a social media website, The Social Network is due for public release October 1st. Those who have seen it early, however, have already taken to sites like IMDb, Metacritic, and Rotten Tomatoes, and they have all rated the new movie very, very well.
With a budget exceeding $50 million, the movie makers are definitely expecting Zucker fans to give it a watch. But out of the 500 million users of Facebook, how many are actually fans of Zucker himself? Plus, the Facebook founder isn't even associated with the film. Or the book it's based off of.
Facebook unveils Page Browser
The venerable social networking titan has quietly unveiled its Page Browser function, a new feature that recommends pages for you to Like (as though you don't Like enough on your own!). Facebook is in a good position to recommend things to its users because it knows far too much about them.
