Next VEF event explores capitalizing on cleantech

Cleantech company executives and the companies who buy their products will be attending the next Vancouver Enterprise Forum event, “Cleantech Panel Discussion — How To Capitalize On Current Business Opportunities.”

At this event, you’ll hear how innovative companies are improving their infrastructure with local technology. Demo projects that are operational now or will be in 2011 will be exhibited and their impacts on improving efficiency and lowering emissions will be explored.

As well, the process of marketing and selling these innovations will be discussed, as will exploring the needs of the market.

After opening remarks by Mayor Gregor Robertson, panellists from the following companies will speak:

  • Paul Austin, Sustainable Development Technologies Canada
  • Salil Munjal, Yaletown Venture Partners
  • Sadhu Johnston, City of Vancouver
  • David Kriebel, DPoint Technology
  • Dean Rockwell, Pulse Energy
  • Tony Formby, Sun Central
  • Don Yen, BCIT
