Taking place this weekend in beautiful Banff, Alberta is nextMEDIA, an event for content producers, media executives, and digital entrepreneurs. At last year's nextMEDIA, over "$13 million in new deals were negotiated." As you can see from the list of speakers, there are a lot of heavy hitters at this event, including Maria Hale from Telus, Steve Billinger from CBC/Radio-Canada, and Joseph Ferreira from CBS Interactive.
If you spend a lot of time online like I do, you'll probably find this list of speakers more familiar: Kris Krug from Raincity Studios, Markus Frind from Plentyoffish, Jim Louderback from Revision3, Boris Wertz from Nexopia, Jeremy Wright from b5media, and Jeff Barr from Amazon.com.
