Nominations open for Ottawa Bootstrap Awards

Exploriem.org and the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation have partnered to present the Annual Exploriem Bootstrap Awards.

The awards recognize small Ottawa businesses that have been bootstrapping their way to growth, presenting awards in a variety of unique categories.

Included among the awards are "Best Use of Pixie Dust" and "Most Innovating Source of Bootstrap Funding."

Anyone who'd like the nominate a local start-up for the Bootstrap Awards can fill out the online nomination form. The deadline to nominate companies is Friday, Jan 22nd at 3 p.m.

The award ceremony will be held the morning of Friday, Feb. 12.
