Northern Voice Sold Out

Posted by Rob Lewis on Wed, February 13, 2008 3:23 PM · Filed under Vancouver , Events , Social Media · 2 Comments

Northern Voice is sold out again this year - that make four years in a row. If you didn't manage to get a ticket, don't fret as this promises to be the best covered conference ever to hit Vancouver with dozens of participants live-blogging. Warren, Greg, and I will be in attendence and should have the majority of the sessions covered right here.

Side note - look for the winner of the Vancouver Blogger Challenge to be crowned during the weekend festivities. Early favourites were Rebecca Bollwitt, Duane Storey and Michael Klassen but I think Boris Mann will make a late push and surprise.

What? I never formally announced that I was in any sort of "Challenge". I mean, sure, I guess I am a Vancouver Blogger, but do we have to fight about it?

:P

I'm really looking forward to Northern Voice. It's gonna be a whirlwind!

NV08 is gonna be a beauty. The 2 years i've attended have been pivotal moments in my personal and professional development - really. Plus i like to party with smart folks.

PS This year, consider attending my presentation "F*ck Stats, Make Art" in which i'll attempt to convince the assembled that a life of poverty and integrity is more valuable than one of compromise and producing schwag content to cretins. I'm batting third in the big hall.

PPS If we haven't met, I was the guy who did the Bob Dylan-esque podcast preso last year.
