Old and new media find common ground at Bridging Media

With the growing strength of new media, its easy for web-focused audiences to lose sight of the importance of both older media like print, radio and television, and of the bonds between the traditional "one-to-many" model and the new "many-to-many" model fostered by the internet. Erica Hargreave and Megan Cole will bring the sometimes clashing platforms together at Bridging Media, a one day event scheduled for March 29th at the Center for Digital Media's huge hanger. The goal of Bridging Media is to identify similarities and differences between old and new media, find solutions to common misunderstandings, and improve collaboration between the differing forms of communication. And best of all, it's free! Visit the Bridging Media Facebook page or their own site to register.
