Open Text Buys HP Software for $170 Million

Open Text has bought a suite of HP software assets for $170 million (USD).

The cash deal sees the Canadian tech titan take ownership of HP TeamSite, HP MediaBin, HP Qfiniti, HP Explore, HP Aurasma, and HP Optimost.

TeamSite is a web content management platform; MediaBin is a digital asset management system; and Qfiniti is a workforce optimization system.
