Small and medium enterprise entrepreneurs should consider attending the Okanagan Science & Technology Council's Early Stage Financings: Small Simple & Sequential Steps to SME Success. It is being held on November 18 & 19 at the Coast Capri Hotel in Kelowna. Attendees will learn skills for entrepreneurs, including financing tips, metrics for success, business model strategies, how to be hyper-sensitive to markets, confidence and how to raise early stage capital.
The seminar will be presented by Roger Killen, who has founded several early-stage businesses, taken one public and has been an angel investor for several others. The first 20 people will also receive a free one-hour private, custom consultation.
The cost is $400 for OSTEC members, and $500 for non-members. For more information visit OSTEC. Alternately, contect them at 250.712.3344, or by email at admin@ostec.ca.
