Ottawa startup community celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week

If you live in the National Capital Region, there are a number of events happening this week to celebrate global entrepreneurship. Natasha D'Souza, Web, Social Media and Mobile Consultant at Ottawa's Virtual EyeSee, blogged about the events on the Startup Ottawa website earlier this week.

D'Souza says "it's important to get out and meet people, even if you work 100 hours per week as an entrepreneur. Chances are, you just might meet other people with the same challenges that you are facing. Plus, you can connect with potential partners or customers at this week's events."

Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest celebration of innovators and job creators. It takes place from Nov. 14 to Nov. 20, 2011, and honours startups and entrepreneurs who bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
