Ottawa townhall discussion on open Internet tomorrow night

Tomorrow night (Wed. June 10th) the main branch of the Ottawa Public Library will host a townhall discussion on the future of openness online.

Speakers at the event include University of Ottawa law professor and Canadian Research Chair in Internet and E-Commerce law Michael Geist, TekSavvy Solutions Inc. CEO Rocky Gaudrault, NDP MP Charlie Angus and Bill St. Arneau, chief research officer for CANARIE Inc.

Opening remarks will come from Steve Anderson, co-founder of SaveOurNet.ca a net neutrality coalition.

The event runs from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 120 Metcalf Street.
