Pacific Northwest Wireless Summit presents awards

Posted by Rob Lewis

The Pacific Northwest Wireless Summit wrapped up tonight with the Awards Gala at the Hyatt Regency. All in all the event was a huge success with some great networking thanks to 160 attendees compared to last year's 120. Mob4hire CEO Stephen King wrapped up Day One yesterday here and Techvibes blogger Warren Frey covered all the sessions today.

Thanks to Tagga, participants were able to vote for the Awards throughout the day in real time. Congrats to all the winners:

  • Best Nokia University Presentation: Karen MacLean of UBC
  • Best International Speaker: Tony Fish of AMF Ventures
  • Best Service Provider Investment Forum (SPIF) presentation: Mingleverse
  • Best Panel: Nokia University relations forum
  • Best Exhibitor: Verrus Mobile Technologies
  • Best Exhibitor Demo Pitch: Canpages
  • Best Keynote: Thomas Huseby of Seapoint Ventures
  • Best in Show: Verrus Mobile Technologies
