Partnerpedia powers branded enterprise App stores #BVF
Today at the Banff Venture Forum Mark Sochan of Partnerpedia pitched the Information Technology stream on their private label enterprise app store solutions. Many in the crowd were familiar with Partnerpedia as it was named the favorite Information Technology company at the Banff Venture Forum's sister event earlier this year.
Leveraging the power of social commerce and partner communities, Vancouver-based Partnerpedia helps enterprise companies monetize vendor partner strategies through partner enablement, collaboration and go-to-market solutions.
In a nutshell, Partnerpedia lets any enterprise's IT department set up their own branded app store.
Driven by the growth of tablets and other smart devices, enterprise app stores are increasingly becoming the solution which allow IT to control the licensing, distribution and management of applications on end-user devices.
The management and distribution of enterprise applications is clearly a complex problem and Partnerpedia's solution is winning some high-profile customers as a result. Cisco built and launched Cisco AppHQ this past June using Partnerpedia's platform. Check out their launch video introducing the tools after the jump.
Partnerpedia was previously known as Constructive Media and counts Yaletown Venture Partners as an investor.
