Former Juniper Networks and Macromedia Executive Joins Hootsuite as CMO

Hootsuite has named Penny Wilson their new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Wilson will lead Hootsuite’s global marketing organization from their Vancouver headquarters and help drive the growth of its customer base of more than ten million users, including 800 of the Fortune 1000 companies.

Wilson has more than 30 years of experience as a senior marketing and operations executive at large enterprise technology companies.

She served as CMO for publically-traded Juniper Networks, where her focus on developing the company’s first cross portfolio solutions, establishing clear customer value and ensuring a consistent global brand helped transform Juniper’s market strategy from technology-driven into customer-driven.
