People Are Lining Up at Best Buy to Get $300 Off RIM's PlayBook

People are lining up at Best Buy stores today to get a whopping $300 off RIM's BlackBerry PlayBook.

The tablet, selling for a low as $299, has clearly drummed up some buzz, despite this being only the latest in a string of sales and promotions. The sale is effective online as well as in-store and lasts until December 2nd. The 16GB and 32GB models appear to be sold out online, which may explain the line-ups at the physical retail outlets. Inside sources suggest that Best Buy has already moved 5,000 units.

At this point, anyone who paid full price for a PlayBook looks pretty foolish. Then again, not many people did.
