Canadian Startup Polar Mobile Hires Two Former Radian6 Employees as VPs

Canadian startup Polar Mobile, which earlier this year raised $6 million, has announced two new strategic hires.

One of them is Rob Begg, who was formerly a vice president of product marketing for Salesforce. And how did he get his start at Salesforce? Through the company’s acquisition of Canadian startup Radian6 in 2011. Rob is now Polar’s vice president of marketing.

Polar has also hired Richard McInnis. He’ll be the startup’s vice president of sales. And where is Richard from? Also Salesforce—also via Radian6.

“Rob and Rich bring to Polar the proven experience growing and scaling go-to-market activities for emerging technology companies and deep knowledge on building software subscription businesses,” writes Polar Mobile founder Kunal Gupta. “They’re also a great cultural fit with the team. We’re thrilled that they’re here. Please join us in welcoming them to Polar Mobile!
