Popular personal finance website coming to Canada soon

Mint.com, the popular personal finance app that was recently purchased by Intuit, is now coming to Canada.

This award-winning site was started by Aaron Patzer in 2005 and came out of beta in 2007 to immediate positive reviews.  Users plug in their personal finances such as earnings and spending.  Mint then suggests ways that users can save money.

According to a press release early in the company's brief history, "Mint is for busy people who want an effortless way to see where their money goes; receive email and SMS bill reminders and alerts; and find savings worth an average of $1,000 within minutes of setup."

At the time Intuit purchased Mint.com, the site had over 1.5 million users.

Stay tuned to Techvibes as we bring you an exclusive interview with Mint.com founder Aaron Patzer very soon.
