This is a great index and I am glad to see it will be an ongoing part of the Techvibes blog!

Real opportunity here to become the authority in Portland area startup's....no reason why the Oregonian shouldn't be publishing the list or at least quoting.

Just curious...when are the Alexa and Compete snapshots taken (what day of the month?)

Jeff: the numbers are compiled on the 14th or 15th of the month, right before the lists are published.
