Pro gamers frag Montreal at WCG Canadian Championship

This weekend, Canada's top gamers will blow the virtual hell out of each other at the 2008 World Cyber Games Canadian Championship, held at Le Ronde in Montreal. With everyone from CounterStrike commandoes to Guitar Hero would-be rock stars competing for more than $400,000 in prizes. The winners in these games can look forward to the WGC Grand Final in Cologne, Germany.

With Montreal (along with Vancouver) leading the way in game development, along with one of the strongest e-sports communities in Canada, the WCG is a perfect fit. For more info, check out the WGC site.
