Public Mobile-branded smartphone to launch in April but unlikely to generate Buzz

Public Mobile has decided to launch its own branded smartphone called Buzz.

The phone, which looks like a retro BlackBerry knockoff, is low on details but MobileSyrup managed to get this image of it. Spec details aren't concrete but the screen is pathetically puny at less about 2.5 inches and the build quality looks pretty tacky and cheap. It has what appears to be a four-way directional pal - always good to see a new device launching with already antiquated technologies.

The phone will probably be very low cost to Public consumers, but... with BlackBerry World unveiling a host of new RIM devices, current-gen Bolds and Curves can be found for free just about anywhere. This device will not generate any (positive) buzz.
