PwC Accepting Applications for Vision to Reality Awards

PwC is currently accepting applications for its Vision to Reality Awards.

Until August 2, Canadian tech startups can apply for the awards, which celebrate dynamic companies in the technology sector that have demonstrated successful growth, and whose outstanding achievements have made them some of Canada’s most successful technology companies. PwC looks for companies who have made a difference in Canada by having the courage to expose their visions, and then turn them into the reality of revenues, profit and benefits to the industry.

Last year, Toronto’s Wattpad won Innovator of the Year, followed by Acquisio and Infusion as finalists. PwC listed seven top up-and-coming tech startups as well: 500px, BroadbandTV, Mobovivo, N8 Identity, Nulogy, UXP Systems, and Vana Workforce.

Once applications close in August, a shortlist of companies will be selected by an independent panel of judges, and from this stage a group of finalists will emerge, according to PwC. Finalists are evaluated by an independent panel of judges based on innovation, financial performance and strategic direction, the company says.

Winners will be announced in November.
