This afternoon at the Financing Forum, Patrick Payne of QuickMobile announced that they have struck a strategic partnership with the i4Media Corporation. While the official details won't be released until the end of February, Payne said the partnership includes an i4Media equity investment in QuickMobile as well as an understanding that the two companies will leverage shared capabilities and i4Media will become and affiliate and reseller of QuickMobile's services.

The Calgary based company, i4Media Corporation, has been put together by Meridian Merchant Capital Managing Director and experienced Internet and television entrepreneur Randy Lennon and the founder of Alberta’s first Internet company Alberta Supernet and the Venture Alberta Forum, Randy Thompson. i4Media will serve as a holding company for digital media and aims to work collaboratively to drive new business opportunities in the area of social networking, content sharing, digital advertising, content purchasing and licensing. As part of this strategic partnership, QuickMobile will provide mobile marketing and services capabilities as part of the i4Media multi-media proposition.
