by Dan Verhaeghe

Random Hacks of Kindness is a global initiative that brings developers together to create technology solutions using open innovation to make the world a better place.

It will be held from December 2nd to 4th in three Canadian cities and is free to attend for anyone in Toronto or Hamilton as the Montreal event is already full. The Toronto and Montreal events are sponsored by Nokia, where developers will be working with Watervoices, which aims to end First Nations water quality issues. They will also be working on an urban street tree mobile application for Toronto. More will be announced at the event.

If you can’t hack for humanity this weekend, you can follow along on Twitter using the hashtags #rhok, #rhokTO, and #rhokMtl.

You can register for the Hamilton event here and the Toronto one here.
