Microsoft's ad unit Razorfish recently cut employees at their New York office, and has just cut positions in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Making the usual statements about reorganizing in tough times, Razorfish is giving job-search assistance to those affected.
Razorfish, headquartered in Seattle, was acquired by Microsoft last year in the purchase of aQuantive, and some serious rumours are circulating that Microsoft may be looking to get rid of the web design firm altogether.
