This time last year search marketing firm Woodland Hills, CA based ReachLocal raised an additional $55.2 million in funding, bringing their total funding to $67.9 million on a valuation of $305 million.

Today ReachLocal announced the launch of ReachLocal.ca and the opening of their first Canadian location - sales office in Toronto. This direct sales force will cater to local businesses in the Greater Toronto Area and be operated by its Regional Sales Manager, Alyn Glazerman.

"Canada is an exciting market with a bourgeoning demand for Internet advertising solutions for small businesses," said Zorik Gordon, CEO of ReachLocal. "With small- to medium-sized businesses in Canada accounting for up to 98 percent of its national enterprise, we see a huge opportunity to help these companies market themselves online."
