Rocket Builders announced their 2008 Ready to Rocket list this morning at UBC Robson Square and it looks like their tagline "Tomorrow's Revenue Growth Leaders" is bang-on. According to Rocket Builder's Geoff Hansen, last years's list reported a median revenue growth rate of 75 per cent which blows away the overall IT sector growth rate of 5-6 per cent. This bodes well for the Class of 2008. Hansen also reported that the 2007 list accounted for 300 new hires collectively in BC last year which is a median employment growth rate of 22 per cent. Job hunters take notice, these companies should experiencing a headcount growth spurt in 2008 and will be looking for prospective employees.
