Rebellion Media is at it again, acquiring Toronto based HomeSav, a popular private online shopping club featuring lifestyle and home decor products—like Beyond the Rack but for your home.
Launched in 2010, HomeSav offers flash sales of home decor and furnishings. HomeSav has over 280,000 members—primarily women—and sells over 800 brands including Kitchenaid and Melissa and Doug. HomeSav adds to Rebellion Media’s growing portfolio of lifestyle brands that cater to women.
Rebellion Media is just over a year old and is growing rapidly through acquisition. Thirteen companies have joined Rebellion in the last 13 months, including Sortable, Jingu, Crucial Interactive, and Incentivibe.
According to their press release Rebellion’s digital properties garner more than 100 million ad impressions each month from over 25 million unique visitors.
Based in Waterloo, Rebellion employs more than 180 people and is still hiring.
