Reporting from the Fast Pitch Forum

Posted by Rob Lewis on Wed, May 27, 2009 8:45 AM · Filed under Seattle , Funding & Exits, Social Media · Comments

This morning I'm live from the Washington Technology Industry Association's Fast Pitch Forum at the Bell Harbour Conference Center in Seattle.

Throughout the day twenty-three of Seattle's hottest technology companies will be showcasing their businesses and pitching to a sold-out Venture Capital heavy audience.

After a welcome from WTIA President and CEO Ken Myer and a hat-tip to Techvibes as the media sponsor, a panel of veterans where introduced to discuss first hand stories of local merger & acquisition experiences. The lunch keynote address will be by Tim Draper, Founder & Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson.

After a blogging frenzy here on Techvibes throughout the day, the audience will be voting via SMS on which presenting company was "Best in Show".

Twitterati out there - hashtag #WTIATS.

Seattle area bloggers: Techvibes is looking for a Seattle Community Manager - if you're interested, reach out and we can get together while we're in town.
