Two insiders have leaked potentially big news: RIM, the Canadian company behind the legendary Blackberry product line, allegedly has plans to introduce a tablet. This plan is expected to be revealed around November, and the device will be designed to compete head-to-head against Apple's wildly popular iPad tablet.
It's said that RIM's tablet will have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities to connect to the internet via Blackberries.
RIM's relationship with Apple has been tense since Steve Jobs included Blackberries on his list of smartphones that share the iPhone 4's "antennagate" issues. We reported on RIM's counterattack here.
