RIM isn't giving India enough access to its messenger services - or are they?
When will it end?
Security agencies in India are still not satisfied with Research in Motion's efforts to grant the country's government access to its data. After extending RIM's "deadline" before the country blocked its services from working, it seemed that India and the Waterloo tech titan reached agreeable terms, when in January RIM gave India access to consumer services including its BlackBerry Messenger.
However, The BlackBerry maker did not grant access to emails, and perhaps that's what India is still in lust for.
But according to The Globe and Mail, RIM believes that this "news" is actually outdated - that junior Telecoms Minister Sachin Pilot's words are not fresh, and that indeed RIM has given India an adequate and satisfying plan.
