RIM plans to stomp the competition with Operation: Disruptive Transformation [Leaked Document]
It's war, baby!
Waterloo's Research In Motion has had yet another leak—but this time it's not a new device, it's an internal doc from a consultant revealing RIM's alleged plans to restake its claim in the mobile device market.
Dubbed "Operation: Disruptive Transformation," this blueprint outlines RIM's intention to "stomp the competition," which appears to be Apple, LG, HTC, Nokia, and Sony Ericsson (not Samsung or Motorola, apparently).

RIM wants to turbocharge sales and reposition the brand as a hip, trendy, on-the-edge, "gotta-have-it" device maker:
“It’s not about a new OS, a new product, a new app or even connecting on Facebook. It’s about creating an emotionally rewarding experience based on consumers fundamental desires. The answer is hiding in plain site."
RIM's stock is surging up 6 percent today but is still wallowing in the murky depths of a five-year low.
