RIM Showcases Forthcoming Cross-Platform 'Mobile Fusion' Solution [Video]

With all eyes focused on today's financial earnings report, it's odd that Research In Motion chose this day to release a video showcasing its upcoming Mobile Fusion feature. Nevertheless, the cross-platform solution, touted as "a new generation of mobile device management," is shown off in a one-minute YouTube video.

Mobile Fusion is RIM's plan to (at some point this year) deliver a secure mobile access network that works seamlessly with iOS and Android devices. Right now, it works only with BlackBerrys and the PlayBook, which isn't exactly groundbreaking. But for those interested, you can sign up for a free trial here.
