Looks like RIM just couldn't get off the hook for its major worldwide outages earlier this month.

The Financial Post reports that RIM is now dealing with a class action lawsuit filed on behalf of BlackBerry subscribers. The Consumer Law Group seeks compensation for the smartphone consumers that were "unable to access their email, BlackBerry Messenger service (BBM), and/or Internet" for several days in mid-October.

The financial damage from the outage, which RIM itself described as the biggest in the company's history, hasn't been made public by RIM, although this lawsuit certainly won't help.

Check out the lawsuit in detail here.
