RIM's BlackBerry PlayBook to match Apple iPad 2's 'legendary' battery life
10 hours of battery life on a tablet. It's legendary, don't you know.
Or so says Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Whether or not it's legendary, it does sound pretty impressive. And now Research in Motion, which has remained silent on the its battery's capabilities for quite some time, has made it public. Or at least Staples has: on its online product description for pre-orders, the company states that the BlackBerry PlayBook has 10 hours of battery life with continued use.
It's just another key spec that RIM's device goes neck-and-neck with against the iPad 2 and other top-line tablets. All the Waterloo-based tech titan is missing is that sexy, trendy, luxury lifestyle appeal that comes from Apple's genius marketing. Of course, if enterprises start snatching this bad boy up en masse, it will hardly matter.
