Rogers Launches National Contest to Support Startups Across Canada

Today, Rogers Communications launched a national contest that will award five grand prizes worth $20,000 to startups in Canada.

The Rogers Small Business Big Idea Giveaway says owners of small businesses with up to 99 employees across Canadacan can enter by sharing how Rogers could give their business a competitive edge in 350 words by October 5, 2013.

The grand prize package includes $5,000 in cash, up to 10 smartphones and tablets, and various subscriptions to services and platforms.

There will also be 10 secondary prizes worth $2,000 each, according to the Toronto-based telecommunications giant.

Rogers says the contest was launched to celebrate September as Small Business Month.
