Posted by Techvibes NewsDesk

Rogers Digital Media announced today the launch of RDeals, a new daily deals site "that brings local and national finds to Canadians for up to 90% off the original price." Beginning today, RDeals will offer national deals across Canada (minus Quebec). It will also offer local deals in Toronto. Rogers plans to leverage its digital media and communications cloud by combining online advertising with technology solutions "to connect brands and engage audiences."

“Canadians are increasingly looking to engage with their favourite brands through multiple digital platforms and channels.  With RDeals, we are offering savings on top, quality brands and seamlessly connecting customers, wherever they are, to merchants across the country,” said Jason Tafler, Chief Digital Officer, Rogers Media Inc. “Leveraging our robust portfolio and world-class brands, we are able to provide our advertisers and clients with access to established and relevant audiences.”

The first RDeals deal is for Chapters Indigo—for $32, you get a $25 gift card plus two magazine subscriptions.
