Rogers Media acquires Montréal's BV Media for $25 mil, all cash
Rogers Media Inc. has acquired the Montréal-based BV Media Inc. for $25 million, an all-cash deal.
Rogers will own all of BV's shares, for which it paid a hefty 100 percent premium on at roughly 40 cents per share.
The acquisition closely follows the last Rogers Media deal, in which the company entered a joint venture with Toronto Star Digital in investing millions into TOPS, or Total Online Publishing Solutions.
