Everybody's favourite unnecessary charge, the Government Regulatory Recovery Fee imposed by Rogers on its smartphone customers, has been reduced.

By up to a whopping 10 cents per month.

On data plans, the monthly fee was reduced by an average of three cents, while voice and voice and data plans were reduced by eight to ten cents. For example, British Columbians will now pay $2.35 instead of $2.43.

The miniscule adjustment will affect both current and future Rogers customers which have been effect since May 3.

Enjoy your savings and don't spend it all in one place, folks.
