Salesforce Announces Slew of Updates at Dreamforce

Today at Dreamforce, software giant Salesforce unleashed a slew of updates and new services.

Among them was Chatterbox, dubbed "Dropbox for the enterprise." Chatterbox will deliver file sharing across services targeted at companies.

"Our customers have been asking us to create a file sharing service like Dropbox for the enterprise," said Nasi Jazayeri, EVP and GM of Salesforce Chatter, salesforce.com. "Now with Salesforce Chatterbox, employees will be able to securely access and share their files with the trust of Salesforce."

Also unveiled was the Marketing Cloud, which combined with the Sales Cloud and Service Cloud forges a suite that unifies social listening, content, engagement, advertising, workflow, automation and measurement. 

"Marketing is undergoing its biggest shift in decades, as brands move from traditional strategies to connecting with customers and fans globally through social media," said Michael Lazerow, CMO of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, salesforce.com. "Salesforce Marketing Cloud empowers brands to take advantage of this shift, turning insight into action and connections into customers for life."

Salesforce also morphed Rypple into Work.com.
