Salesforce Launches Salesforce1 AppExchange Accelerator Program

Today at Dreamforce in San Francisco Salesforce introduced the Salesforce1 AppExchange Accelerate Program.

The AppExchange Accelerate program provides the technology and go-to-market services that independent software vendors (ISVs) need to build, market and sell next generation enterprise apps.

Salesforce hopes that the new accelerator program will fuel the next wave of enterprise ISVs delivering social, mobile and connected cloud apps on the Salesforce1 Customer Platform.

Techvibes spoke with Salesforce's Adam Seligman, vice president of Salesforce Platform developer and partner marketing, about the program and his excitement was clear. "Our program is different than any other startup program out there. Our model is totally different. It's pay as you sell—so you don't pay a penny. You get all the benefits of the program in help. You don't pay anything. Our model is coupled with your success as an entrepreneur".

With no ramp-up costs, ISVs will be able to create profitable businesses from day one, leveraging Salesforce's business model that enables them to invest in innovation and growth, instead of infrastructure.
