Samsung's Much-Hyped Super Bowl Commercial Shot with a Galaxy Note Camera; Teaser Unveiled [VIDEO]

This Sunday is the Super Bowl, and the commercials played during the event are as highly anticipated as the actual sport these days. Samsung has been hyping up it's own spot, today unveiling a teaser video. The Bobby Farrelly-directed ad will continue the company's theme of "The Next Big Thing," this time showing off the Galaxy Note, a massive 5.3-inch smartphone with a stylus. Samsung's spot will once again exercise the smartphoner maker's inferiority complex with Apple, directly mocking iPhone users.

What's interesting to note is that Samsung claims "part" of the video was actually shot with a Note's 8-megapixel, 1080p video camera. Unfortunately, that's all the detail we get.

"The Super Bowl is the one chance each year to reach a massive audience, and there's no better place than the biggest stage in sports, entertainment and marketing to introduce one of the most exciting, new products of the year," said Paul Brannen, Vice President and General Manager, for Samsung Mobile Communications. "Everything about this product launch campaign had to be as big as the Galaxy Note. We created one of the longest ads of any Super Bowl advertiser this year and are proud that our Canadian consumers will be able to enjoy it."

The Samsung Galaxy Note, which runs Android 2.3 on a 1.5GHz, dual-core processor will be available from Bell, Rogers, and Telus on Valentine's Day.
