SAP along with BC Premier Christy Clark announced earlier today that they are opening a new business centre at the software developer’s office in Vancouver. The Vancouver Sun's Scott Simpsun reported on the ‘virtual’ ribbon cutting.

SAP's Yaletown office has carved almost 4,000 square feet of space to demonstrate the company’s software products to an international clientele.

Kirsten Sutton, managing director of SAP Vancouver, said the ‘executive briefing centre’ is essentially a sales centre for the company’s software – but it’s also an opportunity to consult and collaborate with customers.

‘Obviously it’s a sales centre – a portion of it – but it’s also a co-innovation and collaboration centre. We really want to bring people in, find out what their business problems are and world collectively to come up with something that really is going to transform what they do,” Sutton said.
