It's always nice to have a Shark Tank star as your brand ambassador. And that's exactly the case for successful Ottawa ecommerce software startup Shopify, who's gathered the impassioned support of FUBU founder Daymond John.

Shopify, which enables merchants to create and run their own online stores, has happily partnered with Daymond, who will appear on tonight's season premier of Shark Tank.

“Since I work and speak with so many entrepreneurs from various industries, I’m always on the search for the best tools to make their lives easier,” says Daymond, who consults and advises Fortune 500 companies. “Shopify is definitely one of those tools that every entrepreneur should be using. With this easy to use ecommerce solution, entrepreneurs save time and money, so they can focus on other aspects of their business.”

An award-winning author and the "Godfather of Urban Fashion," Daymond will stand behind a surprisingly well-established Shopify, which a force to be reckoned with in its own right: current clients include General Electric, Angry Birds, and CrossFit, among other big names.
