Shoes.com Partners with Slyce to Power ‘Snap-to-Purchase’ Functionality

Visual search platform Slyce today announced a partnership with Shoes.com, an online footwear retailer.

The Slyce 3D mobile image recognition platform will enable mobile visitors to SHOEme.ca to snap a picture of any footwear, either in the real-world, or alternatively, from sources such as magazine pages, and be presented with direct and closely matching products from the SHOEme.ca product line, which can then be purchased.

The integration will roll-out on all women’s footwear.

“Our mission at Shoes.com is to challenge, innovate and deliver new and better ways to shop,” said Roger Hardy, CEO.

Mark Elfenbein, CEO of Slyce said, “We’re extremely excited to be leading the way in what is a booming market now for disruptive, real-world retailing technology.”
