Short week stuffed with events in Toronto
Happy Victoria Day Canada!
With a federal statutory holiday today, you ALL should be enjoying some time off. I'm in transit on my way from Vancouver to Toronto for the Mesh Conference at the AllStream Centre.
Although it's a short week, Toronto will be very busy with a slew of events congregated around Mesh as everyone takes advantage of the buzz in the city.
As an example, MaRS will be hosting Mark MacLeod (aka StartupCFO) and his presentation on SaaS Math on Tuesday from noon until 1:30pm and the Up-Start! Competition on Wednesday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
On Wednesday night the Mesh Conference blends into the CIRA .CA Impact Awards in the evening and Startup Drinks Toronto 20 is taking place at Grace O'Malley's.
On Thursday night in addition to Edelman's Mesh Wrap party, there is a Girls in Tech event at the Brazen Head Irish Pub and a Ruby Hack Night at Influitive's offices.
Post Mesh, on Friday there is a Gamification Workshop at the offices of Rypple.com.
